Concrete Install Services
We pair the best materials available in our region with our standard for excellence. This brings our company to the head of the pack when it comes to installing custom concrete flatwork. All of our installs are implamented with 10mm "Karbon Bar" rebar reinforcement. This product provides over twice the sheer strength as your traditional 1/2" steel rebar and is always tied in a 24" (minimum) on-center grid. We prefer pouring a 4,000 Psi mix for all of our flatwork installs. When choosing the right contractor for your concrete project in Central Oregon, there are a few must-haves that need consideration: a solid, wet-compacted gravel base, good rebar reinforcement, and a contractor that refuses to cut corners (even in the little things). Why? The answer is simple. Our climate sees extreme lows and highs throughout the year. As a result of the temperature swings, the ground will expand and contract throughout the freeze and thaw cycles. A solid gravel base will mitigate as much movement as possible, while the rebar keeps everything held together. Remember, concrete is guaranteed to crack. If corners are cut with materials, the concrete simply won't hold together in our Central Oregon climate the way that it could and should. If corners are cut during either the finishing or cleanup process, the consequences could be an inconsistent finish or permanent concrete splash on anything around the install area. Remember, concrete will continue to get harder as time goes on. If the area is not properly masked off or cleaned in a timely manner, after pouring takes place, the concrete splatter will become exponentially harder to remove, causing potential damage to be done during the cleaning process. ​ An install meant to last 20-30 years may only last 2-10 years if these must-haves are missed throughout the install and finishing process.
